UCCA’s institutional history offers a unique window onto the development of contemporary art in China, and is increasingly of interest to scholars, curators, students and other researchers. Collecting and archiving materials generated is a long-term project for the museum, running since preparations for UCCA began in 2005.  UCCA is working to make these materials available in a dedicated space in Beijing.
